I have heard people say and think Joe Wilkinson can be easily mistaken as the British version of Zach Galifianakis, which I have found to be extremely far from the truth. Joe Wilkinson has quit easily won me over and is now one of my favorite comedians. I hope and pray that he comes to the U.S of A very soon! The Hour

So I have been known to became quit obsessed with TV programs and my for a little bit now I have been very into The Hour. Its about a news crew in 1950s and of course there is mystery, affairs, and plenty of drama. I was very said to see that BBC has decided it will not return for a third season but alas that tends to be my luck. But the show, because it is set in the 1950s, has wonderful costumes that quit look like many of the clothes in my closet. So I thought the show deserved a post for the extraordinary actors and so I can drool over the costumes/hair/era.

Nick Helm

I first heard of the wonderfully funny Nick Helm whilst watching 8 Out Of 10 Cats. I researched him a bit and watched his Live at the Electric footage and I am now hooked. British Fascination #3 David Mitchell

Well I haven't discussed the latest British comedian I have found myself enthralled with. This time his name is David Mitchell.

I begin watching David Mitchell on Big Fat Quiz Of The Year. I than proceeded to watch the show Would I Lie To You? may I just say that this show is absolutely fantastic! I mean I thought Never Mind the Buzzcocks was a entertaining but Would I Lie To You? is becoming quit superior to Buzzcocks, in my mind. I than came across information provided by Wikipedia, of course, that enlightened me on the fact David Mitchell also has a show with fellow humorist Robert Webb. Now prior to discovering who David Mitchell was I actually already knew who Robert Webb was. I quickly began to watch the Mitchell and Webb Look, which I must say I have really enjoyed!

British Fascination #2 Simon Amstell

My obsession with British comedians does not seem to be improving and I have found myself again completely captivated with yet another British humorist.

I begin watching Simon Amstell on Never Mind the Buzzcocks I watched about three episodes with him and found him to be very funny so I then begin watching his show Grandma's House. Needless to say I was sold. I watched both series one and two in a matter of days which wasn't hard since there is only six episodes to a series. I am now desperately awaiting news as to if there will be a series three

He is now doing a stand-up tour "Numb" but unfortunately the only show dates released are in the U.K., I keep hoping for U.S. dates but in my heart I know it is unlikely.

Now apparently in the U.K. he got quite famous for a show called "Popworld". I have yet to see this show but from what I heard in sounds like something I would enjoy.

Over all Simon Amstell has charmed my socks off with his witty and sarcastic comedy!

British Fascination #1 Noel Fielding

I mentioned Noel Fielding in my post about Paloma Faith and I feel that he deserves a post just to himself, yes he is that amazing! So here's a little background on him, he began with The Mighty Boosh they soon got a TV show that become very popular in the U.K. and has become an indie type show in America. Noel Fielding participates as a team captain in Never Mind the Buzzcocks and has recently come out with his own show in spring of 2012, Noel Fielding's Luxery Comedy.

Now Noel Fielding is not just a another old British comedian he is "brilliantly mad"(as the Brits would say, I think...)anyway what I'm trying to say is he has wicked awesome style. Yes I brought examples to show you.

Okay so I will admit I myself wouldn't wear ALL the outfits he chooses but he dresses uniquely and the way he wants so hey that's good enough for me!
