On May 20th I had the amazing opportunity to see a band that has been of favorite of mine since I was eleven, yes it was Social Distortion! They played to Pozo Saloon and it was fantastic! Had such a great time, despite the heat, and they played an amazing show!
Me and my best friend were so excited!
Social D played a great show and it was wicked awesome but the their opening opening act Lindi Ortega played a great set that night too. The Toadies were the opening band and I have to say there performance wasn't really that great, it just drug on and was boring. But big shout out to Lindi Ortega for a great show, she's a truly gifted musician and is of course rockin the rockabilly style!
So for about the past two months I have been obsessed with the British TV show Never Mind the Buzzcocks, its a music trivia show with two teams that consist of musicians and comedians. I began watching because of the fabulous and funny
Mr. Noel Fielding(The Mighty Boosh, The IT Crowd, Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy),
yes he is fantastic and you will be seeing a post solely devoted to him in the future. But now we are talking about Paloma Faith. So as I was watching this show they had a musician come on named Paloma Faith and she immediately caught my attention with what she was wearing.
I wasn't sold though so I decided to give her music a try and I must say I have been so wonderfully delighted by her album Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful that I went and purchased it on iTunes(rare for me to do with modern artists). She has a pop-ish sound and yet she's very authentic and her
odd/vintage/retro/weird style makes her even more endearing to me!
Here are a few of the songs of her album Do You Want the Truth or Something Beautiful.

I have also enjoyed her stylishness! Here are some of my favorite Paloma outfits
I truly love this....
*day dream about wearing this outfit*
Okay, so I like the leopard print but I just cant seem to get over my great dislike for the black hole on her skirt. I dont know, it may look good person(maybe...)but it for dose not work in pictures. Other than the black hole I like it.
I have no words.
This entire outfit is to die for...
So as you can see I have absolute love and respect for Miss Paloma Faith. If you want to check out more of Paloma Faith you can click here to go to her website. You can also check out my Pinterest board dedicated to
